If you have made a purchase, registered for activities or events in your organization's online store, it's likely you've received notifications from Amilia / SmartRec. Here's why ๐Ÿ‘‡

Short summary, if you are in a hurry:

  • Your organization: Offers programs, activities, and events in the community.

  • SmartRec: The online platform used by your organization to manage registrations.

  • Amilia: The company that owns the product, SmartRec.

Reasons that you might hear from us:

  • Invoice & purchase confirmations.

  • Activity/ event reminders.

  • Credit card expiration reminders.

  • Upcoming payment notification.

  • Declined payment notification.

  • Waitlist notifications.

  • Email communications from your organization through our platform.

  • Membership expiration/renewals.

Why do I need an Amilia account to register with my organization?

If your organization uses SmartRec to manage their registrations, you will be required to create an Amilia account. This is your personal account that is used to register yourself or someone in your household through your organization's online SmartRec store. This allows you to appear in their client list, where they can access your account to view your details, purchase history, and make purchases on your behalf.

Once you have an Amilia account, this same account can and should be used to make purchases with other organizations that use the SmartRec platform. This will ensure that all of your personal details and purchase history stays in one place.


When do I create my Amilia account?

โ€‹๐Ÿ“ƒ Scenario: Your local gym uses SmartRec to manage registrations. While browsing their website, you are redirected to a new page to consult their fitness classes. You find a class with a date and time that finally works for you. You select 'purchase now'. This opens a login page, with the Amilia logo. From here, you can sign in, or create a new account by selecting โ€œsign upโ€ on the bottom of the page.

Your Amilia account is now created. This account will be used to complete your purchase with your local gym. You will be registered to your fitness class of choice, and your gym administrators will have access to your profile and purchase history. Make sure to save your login credentials. They will be necessary to consult your personal account and purchase history. You can also download our Amilia app to keep track of yours and your family's activity registrations (and more) from your mobile device.

What if I haven't made a purchase with an organization recently?

If you have not recently made a purchase with an organization, it is still possible that we have appeared in your inbox. You may have received an automated email welcoming you to SmartRec if:

  • You have given your email address to an organization and expressed interest in their activities, they may have added you to their clients list.

  • An organization of which you have been a member in the past has recently made the switch to SmartRec to manage their registrations. If your email address was still part of their data bank, it may have been imported along with the rest of their clients, prompting a welcome e-mail.
