1. What does the Pidj integration provide?

You can instantly pull contacts from your SmartRec programs, activities, and memberships to send alerts, notifications, marketing messages and surveys via text mesage. Click below to learn more about Pidj's features.

Textcast and Timetext

In the Textcast section, you can send targeted messages to different audiences based on their unique criteria. Click 'Add from SmartRec' to access the list of registered participants in one or more programs and, activities and memberships.

  • Send your message immediately or at a specific time (Timetext).

  • Compose a new message or load a template.

Mobile Surveys

You can access Surveys on the right-side menu via your desktop or the Pidj mobile app. Keep in mind that surveys are sent in text format only (not by email).

  • Create ratings, multiple choice, and/or freestyle questions.

  • Track survey responses in Pidj's Reports section.

2-Way Communication

Text or chat online with your patrons from your computer or mobile.

  • Clients can respond to messages you send them, and you can reply.

Set up triggers related to events in SmartRec such as:

  • Activity start/end,

  • Activity registration/cancellation

  • Membership expiration/activation, and

  • Facility bookings

Facility booking reminders

You can send facility booking reminders to your clients. This feature can be applied to all facility bookings at once or individual facilities. Note that you will only be able to send reminders for booking's made after your trigger is set up.


2. How to set up the Pidj integration


Step 1 - In SmartRec, click the Apps tab and then click 'Activate'.

When you click the 'Activate' button, this notifies the Pidj team to contact you by email with steps on how to set up your Pidj account. Once you have your login credentials for Pidj, go to Step 2 to complete the integration setup with SmartRec.


Step 2 - Log in to your Pidj account with your Pidj credentials

Go to https://www.gopidj.com/login (or https://smartrec.gopidj.com/login) and enter your Pidj login credentials.


Step 3 - Enable the integration in the Settings menu

In the Pidj platform, find the Settings menu in the upper right corner.

  • In the Settings menu, click 'Integrations'.

  • To enable the integration, you need your username, password and Amilia organization ID. Click Save.

  • To check if the integration is active, click 🔈 Textcast on the left menu. You should see a button that says 'Add from SmartRec'.

  • To start sending texts, click the 'Add from SmartRec' button to pull participant email addresses by program or activity.


3. FAQs

1. Which languages does Pidj support?

Pidj offers its services in English only. However, it supports French characters, which means you can send texts or chats in French to your contacts.

3. How much does the integration cost?

4. Does Pidj offer email services?

Pidj is a provider of text messaging services. Pidj can also provide a live agent web chat service. However, you cannot send messages to your clients by email with Pidj.

5. Can I pull contact lists from SmartRec in real time?

You may pull contacts in real time from programs and activities only. You cannot pull contact lists from members that book facilities.
