Most of the info added to the Main information subtab appears on the front page of your online SmartRec store.

Main information

  • Name: This is your official organization name in your SmartRec store, the SmartRec directory and all invoices, receipts and statements generated.

  • Main Language: The default language of your store. Unless a client has specified a preferred language, automatic communications from your organization are sent in your main language.

  • Bilingual: Check this box to display your store tabs and custom extra questions (from your registration forms) in both English and French!

  • Email: This field is populated with the account owner's email by default when your SmartRec store is created. However, we suggest choosing something more generic, such as the email your organization uses for general inquiries.

    It is used for the following:

    • Visible on the Learn more page in your SmartRec store

    • Visible on invoices

    • Used as the default reply-to email on communications you send via SmartRec

    • Receives a notification when a participant cancels an activity via the mobile app

    • Receives a notification when a client requests to cancel their membership/subscription

  • Description: There are two types of description: the first (short description) improves search engine optimization and increases your online visibility and the second (long description) is listed in your SmartRec store.

  • Tags: Keyword tags should represent the main activities offered by your organization. They're associated with your organization on the SmartRec Directory and linked to search results. Keywords can't exceed 50 characters and the text box is limited to a total of 4000 characters.

Options

  • Visibility of the organization: Check the box when you're ready to go public on the web. This box must be selected for clients to find your online SmartRec store.

  • Timezone: Choose from the drop-down list.


Mailing address

This address is displayed in your SmartRec store and all communications with clients (including invoices/receipts). If your mailing address is different from your physical location, fill out the Location section so that the mailing address appears on all your communications and the address in Location appears in your SmartRec store.


Sharing

Type in your website URL and your social media URL to facilitate your client's search. This information will be available on your organization's store page.


Other information 

Type in your Enterprise number and your sales taxes number. If you have a permit, enter the name and number. This is required in order to file RL-24 tax receipts.  


Logo

Download your logo and let it shine on your store. Read this article to make sure you respect the maximum size allowed.
